Secure, Gated Estate
Access to IDLADLA is controlled via biometric access. Our access points are manned 24/7 by a professional guarding service and our perimeter fence and internal infrastructure are monitored continuously using a combination of cutting-edge AI with human oversight.
Guests are provided with a visitor management app, where they can enable scheduled access for visitors. Our security team will oversee and control visitor access according to published timeframes.

Month-to-Month
Accommodation
IDLADLA offers a range of self-contained units to our guests on a month-to-month basis, paid in advance. There are no deposits, no credit checks and no tenancy agreements.
Guests may continue to reside in their unit in subsequent months, with a minimum of a 1-week's notice and advance payment for the following month's accommodation.
Several ensuite types of self-contained units exist to suit a wide range of budgets and accommodation requirements.
Power & Water Security
Tired of load shedding, high electricity costs and dealing with water shortages?
IDLADLA's internal power grid draws a low electricity consumption due to the benefit of integrated gas cookers and geysers for cooking and heating water.
In addition our renewable power grid provides 24/7 power to all surveillance, security, common lighting and WiFi.
Our guests may also access back-up power via the IDLADLA utilities app on slightly higher tariffs.
Back-up water is supplied from a dedicated onsite reservoir.
Recreation & Amenities
A commercial and retail zone will be launched in Phase-2, which will include an onsite convenience store, restaurant, launderette, clinic and other convenient services.
Various green spaces will also be provided so that guests may relax, entertain and enjoy various forms of outdoor pursuits.
Development Phasing
IDLADLA will comprise 152 standalone residential buildings, located on their own ERF. Each building will contain 14 self-contained units, all with their own kitchenette and ensuite bathroom, including a shower, basin and toilet.
The estate will be rolled-out in several phases over the course of 4-5 years, with an average of 200 units every 4-5 months.
Phase-1 units will be available from 01 October 2024.
